The 9th annual BFit Challenge powered by National Grid is a one-of-a-kind event that invites members of the community to walk, run, or step to benefit First Responder and Military charities.
Participants of all fitness levels are encouraged to join the challenge at TD Garden and support these great causes.

As we continue to celebrate Boston Police Academy Class 64-24, let’s learn a little bit more about them! This remarkable class exemplifies commitment, diversity, and leadership in service to our city:
With a composition of 77% male and 23% female and all three class officers being women – this class is an inspiring showcase of leadership! Representing Boston’s diverse communities, Class 64-24 speaks 14 languages, ready to connect with and serve every neighborhood. 27 graduates are United States Military Veterans, continuing their journey of service and sacrifice with the BPD.

Boston Police Academy salutes 123 new graduates

The audience stood as the class marched into the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in dress uniforms, escorted by an honor guard and the Gaelic Column of Pipes and Drums. Surrounded by family members, 123 graduates from across Boston were celebrated for their dedication and hard work during months of rigorous training at the academy. The Boston Police Academy held a graduation ceremony on Friday morning at the South Boston convention center, where more than 100 graduates were sworn as new officers.
