Patrick Backs Out of AFL-CIO Speech

Governor Deval Patrick today backed out of his scheduled speech at the AFL-CIO conference in Plymouth.
Over 200 officers and Members of the BPPA, BPSOF, BPDBS & MASScop stood as one in opposition to this Governor's assault on our collective bargaining rights.  The decision to cancel was so abrupt, the Governor's State Police security detail arrivved at the scene to advance his arrival.
This is certainly not the last time you will see unity in our profession.  Get involved.
